Sustain pedal with pedal noise

I would like Nord selling a single Sustain pedal with pedal noise. I don't have the use of the other pedals include in the Nord Triple Pedal.

Is that just my own wish ? Do you wish a Single Sustain Nord Pedal With Pedal Noise ?

I'd like to ask the question to Nord, but if I am alone, no way.

Korg DS1 H does work with pedal noise. I prefer this over the original single Nord pedal, as it are a bit heavier, and stay in place.
It also seem to give the half damper function, but I have never been used to that function, as it is hard to control, and find the exact point.

That's very interesting to know.
I'm in the market for a new damper pedal as I'm only left with a single functioning one, I was considering the Nord original or the Fatar equivalent, but this is a great option (even if it's more expensive than Clavia's).
Thanks!

I already have the Korg DS1, but I found a problem: You have to press it loud (and keep the foot loud on it) because if you don't press anought, you don't get the pedal sustain on message (and if you leave a little bit the pressure, you get a sustain off message).

And the pedal noise is only at maximum value with the DS1 (too much)

Hooked up a yamaha continous sustain pedal which ,I got with a p90 ages back. The stage recognises it as the triple pedal but no pedal noise unforunately.

I seem to remember reading that that would be because the Korg only has a single partial damper location in its travel, whereas Nord has multiple...? Possibly also why the pedal noise is only "loud," because the pedal isn't able to send what the Nord needs in order to determine the in-between gradations.

We know what the triple pedal has inside, but not about the Korg pedal. Would anybody be willing to dismantle one and take a snapshot? Also if possible, the resistance values between rip, ring and sleeve when full open and full close (and someway in between) would help understanding what might be possible and what not.

Nice find, Anotherscott, then I can hide my screwdriver and multimeter again.
The DS1 function on the pedal noise are velocity sensitive.

The reason i skipped it on start with my NS, was that it did not always worked, and I continue to use the original Nord one pedal. That seems to have been fixed in one of the OS updates between my original 1.04 and now 1.14 , so I just found the Korg pedal today for a test of the pedal noise.

Personally, I dont care for the pedal noise, it got lost in a band mix anyway, but are working fine for home use.

I was wrong: My pedal Korg is a PS1 and not a DS1.

I'm waiting for your test with the DS1 to know if the pedal noise works (and if you can choose the level of the noise in the NS3).
