Hello. First sorry if my english is a mess. I´ve tried to update my Ex2 with a couple of new piano sounds, and so far so good. But there is a problem now in the display. It won´t show me the sound am using. its just showing Italian Grand all the time. I can see the sound when i am changing but in the display it goes back to Italian Grand. Can anyone help me please?

Hej.
You must rename your program too. Press shift and store, then give the program a name after your taste. Then press store ones again.
Ha det bra// best Regards Stefan.

Every Program always contains TWO piano patches, TWO organs, and TWO synths — one each for Slot A and Slot B.
So even if all of those sounds are turned off and all you hear is one of the two pianos, you still have six engines running, all at the same time!
So the name of the program doesn't necessarily have any connection at all to the names of the individual samples used.
This is why the program name does not change when you replace any one of the sounds (in your case, the piano).

I am afraid you are still confusing the name of the Piano Sample with the name of the Program(s) where it can be used.
I suggest you to install and use the Nord Sound Manager, it has separate tabs for the two objects and also shows which Samples are used in each Program (and you can rename Programs in NSM diectly; of course you cannot rename Piano Samples, they are set in the .npno file and fixed... the NSM manual is a good help too, to understand the difference.).j

Hej igen Gommern.
Both analogika and maxpiano have good descriptions of the way it works. The piano sound itself have a fixed name and you will see it when you put it in to one of the place reserved for piano samples.(one for slot A and one for slot B). You can´t change the name in this area. The only way you can change names is for the whole program. Thats what I mean in my first post. For this you have to push and hold shift button when you push store button (store as). In this area you can modify the category and the (program) name. When you are ready, push the store button again, to save the program with your new name.
Hoppas det funkar nu// Best regards Stefan.

I have seen your video clip on Facebook now, and what I can read out of this, you only change ``Piano Type´´ and go between Grand, uprights and so on. Therefore it goes back to the program name after a few seconds. Let´s take it from the beginning. Load in some of your favorite pianos (.npno file) from Nords website via Nord sound manager. Use the latest update 6.90 of this. You find your loaded piano files as different numbers when you push the ``Model button´´. For the first, Choose a piano slot, A or B. If you for example will choose Royal grand, push the ``Type button´´ and choose ``Grand´´. Then push ``Model button´´ several times, until you can read Royal grand in the display. Then push and hold shift when you push store button. Now you are in program naming menu. (store as) Give your program a name of your taste, why not Royal Grand. Then push ``Store button again´´ and you have your program stored. I dont have my Stage in front of me now when I write this, so sorry if I have missed some detail.
Best regards // Stefan. Hoppas du hittar lösningen i och med detta.

Hello again. This is a complete nightmare. I´ve tried to factory reset the synth. I´ve tried to to exactly use your steps as told above. This is happening. 1. Removed nr 5 in Grand section. 2. Downloaded Studio Grand 2. 3. Renamed the studio grand in mod 5 on the grand sections and stored it. Now every sound in type and mod are called Studio Grand when i´m using type or mod. BUT, when i´m using the program page button i can change type and use mod button as normal. Well, i can try to get use to this way, but something is happend with the type and mod.. It can also be that i am totally stupid

Thank you all for try to explain this mess for me.
Best wishes GOM
