Rock Guitar for NS 2

I am not a guitar player, but I have always experimented with trying to get a usable Rock Guitar sound out of a keyboard.
This is my latest attempt. It uses the Stratocaster sample in slot 40. Tweak to taste!

Nice job bro! I do the same beings I have a four piece band. Keys Drums Guitar and Bass... Always needing a good back up guitar for Guitar leads & harmony Guitar leads with the keys and Guitar together! Not many of us out there creating the sound! Thx for another great sound!

I love your rock guitar, but can you send it to me as an NSMP for my Nord Stage 2EX? That is the only format that will load into my keyboard for some reason. thanks! Marilea +NORD

Hi you need two files, the program and the sample. Can't you download them from the links in the first post of this thread?

I guess I am not sure what you mean by needing two files., the 'program' ? and the sample. I downloaded the stratocaster (NSMP file)., but which one is the program file you are referring to? I am only able to load in NSMP files into my Nord Stage 2Ex 76 for some reason. It appears that DJ keys used the stratocaster file and tweaked it to get that 'Rock Guitar' sound that I want. Unfortunately, he posted it as an mp3 file, which won't download into my Nord Stage 2 Ex. Is there a way to convert the NS2P files into an NSMP file? Otherwise, I will attempt to do as DJ Keys did., and tweak the stratocaster file to try and get that wonderful Rock guitar sound that he was able to make on the nord.

I see now what you mean by needing the program and the sample. (had to delete a file to get the program to download in Bank D. Do you know where I can find a CLEAN rock guitar sound (for I want you to want me / Cheap Trick) and a 12 string guitar (for Hotel California?) Thanks, Mr. G!

Nicely done DJKeys
I used the synth section with detuned square, wa-wa and JC amp in the FX section, to simulate guitars. Mostly distorted one's. I'm about to upgrade from a Stage 2EX to a Stage 3 soon. I'll try to upload a few patches here before that.
