Do anyone use Nord C2 as a controller for MainStage and if how do it work?
What cables you use to hookup with?

I came here with the same question. How easy is it to get the two keyboards to talk to MainStage independently to play different sounds?

The Nord C2 manual in the chapter 7 "MIDI functions" has all the info you need C2 side, read it all and particulary paragraph "Nord C2 with a sequencer" (Mainstage is not different from a DAW/sequencer in terms of management of external MIDI devices, so all you can read there applies to it too) and since C2 supports USB MIDI you just need to connect it to the Mac via USB (EDIT: correction, USB on C2 is only for OS updates, you need a MIDI interface, i.e. a USB MIDI cable or MIDI ports on a sound card).

Then if you need info on how to set up patches in Mainstage to work on 2 distinct MIDI channels coming from the same device, that is more a topic for a Mainstage specific forum (and may depend also on teh plugin) anyway the basic info can be found on Mainstage online manual, here Connect Multichannel MIDI devices to MainStage.

I think that a MIDI to USB converter is nescessary.

Yes you are right, I remembered it had USB MIDI but it doesn't, so for connecting the C2 to a computer you need a MIDI interface (USB MIDI cable or MIDI ports on an audio card).
Thanks for the correction. :)
