Does anybody know if there is a way to make an expression pedal (Yamaha FC7) control volume as opposed to swell for B3 type sounds on an NE5? I have seen post references turning swell control to "no" on other Nord models, but I do not see that option on the NE5. Am I missing something?

Yes of course!
I use the fc7, you must choice in the ne5 menu
For the leslie you can take sustain pédal or halfmoon switch
