I just bought a used Nord C1 and I'd like to reload the original sounds settings.
I read and reread the doc of the C1 midi-part, but I don't understand how to use the syses file.
With my mac, I run "SysEx Librarian" program, I load the file NordC1Factory-3.syx (downloaded on the Nord website), I do "play" and nothing happens ...
Should the C1 be connected to USB or MIDI jack ? Which parameters to choose in C1 ?
If anyone could help me!
Thank you.

Re: C1 how to original sounds settings reload
Check page 19 of the C1 Manual (available on Nord site) about restoring Sysex dumps (key point: ensure Memory Protection is switched off).
C1 does not support MIDI over USB so you need to use a MIDI interface, make sure also you are using a good quality one as some cheap MIDI USB cable interfaces fail to transfer sysex streams properly.
