Half-moon switch and Leslie 2101 :?:

Hi,
I consider to buy a Leslie 2101 MK II for my nord C2.
I have one question :
I've got the Half Moon with my Nord to control the speed of the Leslie.
If I plug my nord with a 11pin cable to the Leslie, is the half-moon going to control the Rotor of the Leslie instead of the simulation ?
Thank you for your advice !

High level outputs, featuring quarter-inch as well as a 11-pin Leslie standard connectors allows you to connect directly to rotary speak- ers When using the 11-pin connector, the panel controls for rotation speed are transferred as well
(Nord C2D Manual, page 4)
So as long as also the 2101 responds to Leslie speed commands via the 11pin, as I assume it does, you should be OK.

Oh thanks !
I think it will work too but if someone has already done it.

As long as the simulation isn't running it will do both. You don't want to use a leslie sim with the real thing!
Also, here's a pinout guide for all leslie models that is useful for doing other things with older models, if you're handy with a soldering iron.

Of course, I don't want a sim with a real Leslie !

Just bumping this thread, because it seems relevant to what I was having a go at today.
I was trying to route a Nord Stage 4 Compact fitted with a Nord half moon switch through a Leslie 2101, with organ going to the rotors, and everything else going to the stationary speakers. As the Compact doesn't have an 11 pin output, the only other option is to plug it into the footswitch input on the Leslie. It almost works, except the slow / fast setting on the jack input is backwards to the Nord half moon switch (and for that matter, a Hammond one as well!) - so "fast" gives you slow, and "slow" gives you fast. Obviously this isn't an issue for the Nord organ as you can just use the 11 pin output and everything works.
Has anyone else seen this problem, and if so, did you fix it? I assume a phase switching cable will do the job, or just opening up any stereo jack and swapping the two signal wires over.
