Volume problems with piano sounds

Hi all,
strange problem with my Nord stage classic (OS 4.2): When playing rich piano sounds like Yamaha or Steinway, every now and then the volume goes extremely up while pressing an individual key or chord.
However this happens only when the sustain pedal is pressed. The duration of this effect is only one note. After that the stage works fine for 30 sec or a minute or even more until it happens again.
Unfortunately I'm not able to reproduce the effect which is more than disturbing especially when using head phones. It just happens. With the "simple" piano sounds like Rhodes I do not have the problem. At least I cannot perceive it. There is also no problem with the programs.
Any recommendations?
