Nord Piano OS Update Failure

Hi All,

I have just tried to update my Nord Piano 88 OS from 1.46 to 1.48.

it began Ok with the "Erasing for space " but during the Sending/ Receiving stage it hangs each time.
Now the piano itself is stuck in a receiving mode even after power on/off.
Its not usable. :thumbdown:

Any ideas on how to reinstall OS completely ... or what can be done next ?

There is a software procedure via which it is possible to "Heimlich" the memory and then re-attempt OS update. No, I will not publish details on this here in this public forum. Contact your UK distributor for a referral or advice.

Hello. I have exactly the same problem.

I don’t know who to contact, since I bought my Nord Piano used. Can you help with that eventually? I live in Denmark, in the Copenhagen area.

Jonas, have you tried to restart the SW updater on your PC/Mac? Sometimes the USB driver disconnects and the computer hangs waiting for a lost connection. It can in some cases help just to restart the updater on the computer, without restarting the Nord.
