I would LOVE a Stage 3 that means I could still return my NP3 and get my money back. I don't know how old the Stage 2 ex 88 is, hold is it actually? because if it has just been a year then I would say no but if it has been 2 or more then I would think maybe. but thats just me I'm pretty new to Nord.
Also I don't know if this matters but here in the Netherlands the price on the stage 2 ex 88 has dropped from 3599 euro's to 2800 euro's and the NP3 has dropped from 2599 to 2399 maybe this might be an indication idk. just speculation here.

None of the above.

Possibly a new product line.

I wonder why they don't bring the Nord Drum 3 (without P) on the market. The Drum 3P is great, BUT it doesn't have the ability to plug in drum triggers or self made piezo-pads. I really liked that ability when Nord Drum (1) came out…
But I don't think that we'll see something like that at NAMM, I think the 'drummermarket' in general is too conservative to experiment with triggers on acoustic drums or building their own pads with simple piezos.

If they took the Drum 3, removed the pads, and added a step sequencer and a couple of voices of melodic synth...I'm hoping that's what they have in mind.

I think it is quite likely that they release the NS3 at NAMM 2017. Simply because they have not given us the usual sneak peak as they usually do around Christmas every year. The element of surprise is sometimes more exciting! :keyboard:

Looking at their latest releases, the product lines that are lagging behind are the organs (the C2D is over 5 years old) and the synths.
The stage pianos (Stage, Electro and Piano) have all been updated more or less recently.
Moreover, they have two similar synths that are competing against each other and very likely cannibalizing sales, that's not a good situation for any manufacturer.

So I would expect either a new organ, or a totally new synth replacing both the Lead4 and the A1.
But then again, this is only speculation... ;)

Not a Stage 3. It hasn't been long enough. Perhaps a Wave 2 with multilayered samples, which can then be rolled out across the Stage 3 in due course.

This would make sense.

Any attempt at NLA2 should include a vocoder mic / jack...
