Nord Piano 3 Key knocking noise

I did it, I bought a Nord. The new piano 3 actually. I love it. But after about a week, the middle C is making a horrifying noise on release. metal on metal knocking. I have contacted the Nord national repair guy but have not heard much since. I've had this piano for about a month now. It's starting to drive me crazy. The warranty guy told me of a couple other reports of this. Has anyone ever taken one apart?? This appears to be a simple mechanical issue with the dampening of the hammer action. Probably a felt or something that has fallen off. I know I could probably fix it easily but I'm definitely concerned to open it up. I don't hear it at gigs but when quietly practicing it's really annoying.
I've attached a video.
Has this happened to anyone else? Thoughts?
Thanks!

Sorry to hear that.
If I where you, I would not open it.
Direct way back to the seller.
Not sure that the garanty would be ok if you have open it ...

Hi JB, you haven't heard much since because there's nothing more to say at this time. The Wizards of Nord are currently engaged in diagnosing and figuring out a cure and when they have arrived at a conclusion, they'll get back to me and I'll get back to you. Thus far, this has been reported to me by two individuals in Canada/USA combined.
bless, pablo

Yes this happened to me a couple of days after my purchase, but it occurred with the higher keys like C5, F5, G5, E6. Because I have been working on digital piano actions for awhile I went in and found that by resetting the keybed helped. I already relubed the keys but that didn't solve it and I thought maybe it was a felt thing, but that wasn't the answer. Weirdly I took the keybed out and remounted it and seems to have minimized the noise. I do not recommend doing what I did if you're not really familiar with digital piano actions. Overall I like the NP3, but man I'm not crazy about the action. I certainly must be a Roland or Yamaha guy when it comes to actions because I really don't care for Fatar's actions at all! Time will tell on how long I keep the NP3.

Thanks for your replies everyone. And a big thanks to Pablo for killer service and response time. I was posting in this forum just hoping to get some insight from other users into what might be happening. No real worries here as I'm sure it will get resolved at some point. Thanks everyone!

Yet I haven't had any problem with the keys on my Nord Piano 3 but it makes me a little bit nervous to hear about it. I was suprised when I got my Nord that the keybed was less noisy than I thought it would be. Earlier I have played the Nord Piano 2 and the Nord Stage 2EX in my local store and I thought that they were quite noisy.

I'm waiting to hear the ending before buying an NP3.

I too am waiting to hear the ending of this. After trying out numerous keyboards, the Nord Piano 3 is a clear winner to me with regards to sound and feel. However, I would like to know that a $3000 keyboard would last much longer than my $600 Yamaha P-60 which has lasted me well over 10 years by this point.
