Hi there, I tried both global and individual, I prefer individual midi channels because I can use a midi channel per pad and sequence that way...

I have velocity sensitivity turned off which means all pads should be hitting at maximum velocity.
This is something that has been experienced by other ND2 users.
I'm on OS 3.0

Hi,
I wish I could help you to find a solution to your problem, but I can't replicate it to start with. I first tried the Global MIDI channel, now also tried the individual MIDI channels, sending note 60 at velocity 127 again gives me exactly the same response and sound as with the Trig button.

Our units are both on the same OS. So either it occurs (or is more apparent) with specific drum sounds / parameters, e.g. waveforms or envelopes that I didn't test. Or the SP-16 doesn't actually send MIDI notes at velocity 127. The manual(s) of the SP-16 that I could find don't mention anything about the velocity when dynamics are tured off, it could as well be 100. The best way to check this is to connect the SP-16 MIDI output to a computer or tablet with MIDI monitoring software.
