Will Nord deliver Rhodes Keybed sounds sample one day?

hi everybody
what do you think if Nord, in it's sample library, delivers samples of keybed sounds from some Rhodes.

by this way, every Nord owner could mix those sounds with the Rhodes sounds they offer. It would be easy.
by this way also, Nord owners would not look to other brands who propose those kind of fonctions but integrated in their machines
by this way we could try to mix keybed Rhodes V with Rhodes Mark I and have exclusive Nord configurations also :D

Come on, pleeeease Mr Nord !

:keyboard:

What do you think about it ? could it be for real ?

Best regards

Nord owners don't look to other brands, dude. We're at the top. Presidents don't run for the Senate once they are out of the White House.

As for keybed samples - again, if the Nefertiti isn't doing it for you - BUY A RHODES (to the tune of the old standard "All of Me")

hello Spradders,
yes it was done one time by cemo69, you are right.
I used to create in the electro sound section a program for Nord Electro 5 with it. And I am using it a lot. I invite you to listen to it in the electro sound section, you will see, it's nice :P

http://www.norduserforum.com/nord-elect ... 10460.html

but ... I was just wondering why Nord doesn't propose that either as the other brand do. Just saying it would be cool, useful, and good to compete other major brands, even if I like those red keyboads a lot ! :keyboard:

Nord users can look and play other keyboards, emartin149, and other brands can have also sometimes good ideas ... don't you think ?
And I am not a real fender buyer. Old 70 s are to heavy, to fragile for me.

Cheers

Hi DefursaK, the idea of the hammers noise samples is a good one, as it lets you adjust the effect to taste. The only shame that it uses an extra synth section.
Since it has been shown that is already possible and there is a sample in the forum with examples, I am not sure what is that you are suggesting Clavia should do now.

Well, the "not-allowed-to-gently-poke-people-who-want-Nord-to-make-a-perfect-Rhodes" police seem to be out too. :)

All in good fun, fellas.

hello everyone'
Dear Mr G, I totaly agree with you. This keybed sound would use one synth section.
anyway, I would be satisfied with that.

What I would exactly like is different keybed sample sounds. Like a Mark I keybed sound, a Mark V keybed, etc ...
then we could try to mix Mark I keybed sound with the EP7 Nord sound for example. It could open the way to exclusive program by Nord that no other brand could propose .... mixing different keybed to different sounds.

Nice game to try with a Nord Electro, Piano or Stage ....

Cheers !

I'm not sure I'm getting this correctly in my feeble brain...this is about sampling the mechanical noise of the rhodes keybed so that the player can get that authentic sound while playing? Is that right? That ambient noise was not being transmitted by the pickups into the audio output signal. Audiences weren't hearing that. It wasn't present on recordings. Or am I wrong about this? And there should be separate recordings of this ambient noise for different generations of rhodes? That would raise the possibility of mixing a Mark I tone with a Mark V keybed noise. Heresy, I say!

Why not equal treatment for the acoustic pianos? Surely the ambient noise produced by Steinway and Fazioli keybed mechanisms are not the same. Why should the acoustics be short-changed in this way? Perhaps there should be a separate piano library containing samples of people playing with long fingernails so we can hear the little clicks with each note? Where does it all end? Oh, the inhumanity of it all...

disclaimer: I've just finished watching 3+ hours of Republican National Convention coverage, so my brain is considerably warped at the moment and I'm feeling the need to lash out at something. Don't have a dog to kick, can't find the cat, and hitting the wife could have painful and/or expensive repercussions.
