I worked with my Nord Stage 88 Classic for several years now, but since today my sustain pedal does not work anymore. The pedal itself is OK, I tested it on another keyboard. I also checked the polarity on the Stage. I also reloaded the OS (4.20) and of course I made sure that the sustain pedal button is turned on for the section selected.

Anyone have a clue? The hardware is OK, the Stage didn't fall or break or anything. It is as if there is some software problem. I am desperate, have a gig in a few weeks and need to practice.....

My ageing pedal stopped the other day, but I figured it was more likely to be the pedal. I took it to bits and checked the connection and couldn't see anything wrong. Plugged it back in and all was fine. I'm never one to hold much confidence in the 'plug/unplug' or 'turn on/off' technique of repair, but just sometimes....
