Hi guys, just wondering if anyone has any advice for getting an ambient pad on the electro 5? Haven't found anything in the presets that suits, and have struggled online. Trying to find something useful for modern worship music, if anyone has any experience/advice with this, it would be appreciated!

I see SC-sounds claim to sell some ambient pads from their site. http://sc-sounds.com/clavia-nord.html look down the page for samples from " Nord Wave Wavestation Vol.2" If you buy, please comment on the quality - interesting to know.

I first went looking for Warm ambient pads for the Nord when I first got my Electro 4d in 2014. I sort of gave up. I used another Synth for that.
Now I have a 5d and I plan on only using one keyboard. The same patches appear to be out there, only this time I've learned how to adjust the dynamics and release so the sample sounds cleaner and smoother.

Here are four of the best warm pads I have found from users on this forum. (Daveher, Schorsch, Hanon, and others)

It seems as if these work with the Electro 5d model? If so I could not figure out how to get them to upload using the Nord Electro Sound Manager app on my Mac. I was able to drag and drop them into the Sample Library section but not as a patch?

Yes, for sure. Samples aren't patches/programs. Just init a new program on your Electro and load that sample into the synth section.

Using a new sample is a two-step thing: a) download the sample to the Electro via computer; b) use it within a program on the Electro.

How do I load it into the synth section? Sorry Im a total noob at this stuff
