Inverter power supply

Hi all,
This is my first post at the Nord user forum. I´m wondering if an inexpensive 100W 12V to 220V "modified sinus wave" inverter will work on my Electro 3 unit? I hesitate to try as I´m concerned about possible damage to the Nord PSU
Thanks in advance,
Rune

Hello Rune,
Welcome to the forum!
You'll want to pick a specific inverter product model #
and submit this question directly to Nord technical support at this link:

I'm interested in how they respond, please post back.
Cheers, Hanon

Clavia´s recommenation was to simply try it and see, and I did.
Everything seem to work just fine. The current draw is very low. I measured 1 Amp. at the 12V battery line. This regardless of the settings on the Electro 3. Quite remarkable as the Inverter itself (Waeco SI102) takes 0,4 Amp. with no load.
Cheers, Rune
