Which is left and right output 1 or 2?

I fear I may be very stupid, but I can't find in any of the user manuals (for Nord stage 2) which channel I should be routing to left, and which to the right!
Any help appreciated
Thanks
Philip

1 to the left, 2 to the right.
Unless of course you route something to Outputs 3&4 in the settings, which would be left (3) and right (4).
I have a related question, I fear may be a stupid one but haven't really confirmed before. If you play through a single speaker (which could have stereo inputs) or go mono FOH, do you cable both outputs 1 and 2 and press the mono sum button? Or do you only need to use a single output (either output 1 or output 2) and press the mono sum button. Is there any difference?

I may be totally wrong on this one, but I've tried a lot of different set-ups. To me, my piano patches sound better using output 2 (yes, I'm running mono for live gigs) and I'm not selecting mono output on the panel. And, if I understand correctly the organ patches are mono regardless.

Unless you want the Leslie sim and other effects in stereo. And the piano sample are stereo, so output 2 only works, but some part of the sample is missing.

Someone who understands acoustics better than me could probably say, but I think the right piano output (more upper frequencies) would cut through better live and sound better for that reason.

Hi,
I'm playing live with a (mono) Bose L1 compact. I use a small yamaha mixer and merge the stereo outputs to mono using a palmer microphone merger. Works and sounds perfect (no phase issues or similar side effects). Nord's samples seem to be perfectly compatible for mono. I do not know about user made samples of coarse. Hope this helps.
Have fun,
