Nord Drum 3 and 3P

Wish the reverb and delay was per channel, wish there were 6 outputs, and wish the old pad worked with the 3.
The only thing really attracting me to this is the individual sound loading...

It looks like the 3P has a power button, hey now!!
Gotta admit, I am curious how the 7 reverbs sound....

Re: Nord Drum 3 and 3P
Well I'm disappointed..
No USB midi
No individual outs
Reverb and delay is not specific to channels
Removal of timbre and noise attack
No sampler function
No undo button
No velocity based effects/parameters
No separate volume control for headphones
Nord Pad isn't compatible
Some unknowns:
Will midi cc step sizes be more logical (like 1, 2, 3, 4, instead of 0, 3, 6, 8, 11)
Infinite repeat
Infinity sustain
Variable Q in parametric equaliser
Filter for tone section
More scale presets
At least there's an on/off switch right? I really really wish they just updated the ND2 with some of these features, maybe they still can?

Re: Nord Drum 3 and 3P
Call me a moron but I'm kinda glad the ND3 is not as steep a step up from ND2 as the ND2 was from ND1, as far as features are concerned. I bought the ND2 new less than a year ago, paid the full price and would be insulted if the 'next big thing' was released just now. Fortunately (again, call me a moron if you will) the ND3 is not the next big thing, not for me at least. Frankly, why Clavia decided to launch the ND3 this soon after the ND2 is beyond me, especially knowing that it still won't offer what most of us so eagerly want to see on board (mainly individual outs and USB MIDI). Anyways, I'm sure this product will be top notch like each and every instrument by Clavia, only the ND3 is not my cuppa tea. As for a now very likely ND4 in.... 2017 or 2018 maybe? Well, that's hopefully another story with a more happy ending for the likes of me.

It would be nice if the ND2 had reverb added now
That's very unlikely but ...

Re: Nord Drum 3 and 3P
Hi!
Although I am happy with my reverb units and plugins, if the on board ones sound good enough, it's less equipment to carry around! The wet/dry of the reverb can be set per channel, which I think is nice..
I wonder if the delay on the ND3 is an audio delay or a MIDI-like delay as the ND2 has..
It indeed seems to lack the noise attack parameter, I use that quite a lot on the ND2! (although this may not be the final version, remember the different layout/labels on the ND2 in Musikmesse 2013 video ?) we'll see..
The ND1 had more parameters for Click than the ND2, each ND version seems to have its own unique features.. I'm not selling my ND1. I also don't think the ND3 is a huge step up from ND2.. although I do wonder what new types of waveforms it will have ..
Louder outputs, always nice,..
I like how the ND2 + Pad combo fits in a small backpack, I don't think the ND3P will, on the other hand you'll need less stands/mounts with the ND3P..
Unfortunately the regular ND3 version isn't compatible with the 'old' Nord Pad
I like the demos -
