Chameleon Bass

Hello,
This is a patch for the Chameleon Bass sound Herbie Hancock (Headhunter).
The sound comes from my Korg Minilogue. Mp3 on the first 4 steps are the Nord Stage, the following 4 steps are Minilogue and the last 4 are the original. Each cymbal crash I change synth.

Nice sounding sample, not quite the original but close. Don't know if you tried to match it 100% but the filter envelope should close much faster if that's the case. Personally, I like your version better
Shouldn't this be in the samples section of this forum, rather than here in the Stage 2 programs section?

Hello Paul,
Yes. The nsmp file can be loaded into a Nord Electro 6D using the Nord Sound Manager.

OK, many thanks. I still not have really studied the 'NSM' as yet.
I managed to replicate a reasonable "Chameleon" bass on my (Behringer) 'Poly D' last week. I might upload a quick demo at some point...
I am actually trying to write an arrangement of "Chameleon" for a local band. I am learning (very slowly!) how to use Sibelius music notator s/w. It's taking me a long time but I think it will be worth it once it's finished.
