Upgrading Stage88 from OS 1.12

Hi!
I bought my Stage 88 some 4 years ago. The system is still OS 1.12. Now I've been trying to upgrade the thing since I'm nooot happy with the piano sounds.
It doesn't really work...I got the version 4.20 and lost all the piano sounds. This problem I wasn't able to solve and clavia.se didn't really help, either.
