"Good" means nothing, what type of bass are you looking for? There are a lot in the factory Synth presets, have you tried to browse all of them? Isn't there any which is close to what you need?

Btw I recently discovered the "Hagstrom H8 Pick" bass sample with the Nord sample library 2.0 update and like it very much.
Interesting user made bass split (from his with real bass instrument ) :

you're right, it's a keyboard after all !
I have downloaded a few synbass samples into my NE5 but still haven't found one that was strong enough
hence I turned myself toward the others
but still I'd like to find that synth bass ...

At this link you can find a list of Factory NS2 sounds, including Synth section sounds (not Programs, these are the ones you select via the Load Sound in the synth section) http://www.norduserforum.com/post36984. ... cel#p36984
