Re: Nord Lead 2Х problem with MIDI
It may be a problem of MIDI channels. If the wrong MIDI channel is set in Cubase, then the notes out of Cubase may play a different sound.

This is very odd. I wonder if you have recorded a CC change elsewhere that sets the attack to a different value.
Does it happen if you connect another MIDI instrument and play your NL as a slave? If it does not, I would inspect what is recorded in the cubase MIDI tracks.

Re: Nord Lead 2Х problem with MIDI
Seems it gonna work at some point. Im connect external MIDI keyboard (Novation SL 61) and seem it had beetter sensitivity, so when i play very smooth it sound like i play from Lead's own kayboard, but when i play stronger it sound like from Cubase. In my MIDI pattern all notes have 127 velocity, so may be its a key?
I got Nord Lead about a year and all the time i work with it live and anly with external FX into FOH, with no MIDI at all, so all my patches a programmed to this velocity. So it is a feature of Nord Lead or its a bug?

Re: Nord Lead 2Х problem with MIDI
Oh, thanks you all guys, im trying and MIDI channel too and see that my Pref bank got strange attack sound on slot B. Only A slot was active but it sound from channels, and its my fail.
But i can not understand why it sound louder on my external kayboard and from Cubase, but smooth from internal Lead keyboard?

Re: Nord Lead 2Х problem with MIDI
You can change the MIDI channel of each slot independently, so try setting the slots that aren't to be heard to an unused channel.

Re: Nord Lead 2Х problem with MIDI
It's probably just that different keyboards have different velocity curves and feel different, that's normal. The maximum MIDI velocity is always 127, but for some keyboards it's easy to reach maximum, others you have to play harder.z0idator wrote:Seems it gonna work at some point.
