Hi,
Are or was your HS7 new?
I am asking because I notice myself that after a few hours of using them, bass seems to be far more dry and present.
Maybe I got used to them also but they really seems more punchy than at the begining when they were new.

I also use a pair of HS7 in my home studio. They are studio monitors and they are designed to sound neutral so you can mix a song properly and have it sound nice on any speakers afterwards. They were not designed to sound cool or to amplify a Nord or any keyboard. I don't like the sound of my Nord on the HS7 either, especially when you are used to the live sound you get when your Nord is plugged into a good live sound system. I bought a small sound system (Roland CM 110) for my home studio, just to be able to play my Nord and my Roland electronic drums with a pleasant sound.
