can someone help me on the sound of the intro of Gold and True
Spandau Ballet ?

They should be derived from the Prophet 5 !!!

My advice would be to look in the Nord Prophet5 library first :

As far as I know it was played on a Rhodes Chroma. It has this typical sound.

Fred, which sample are you using on that sound please ??

I have found the 'A1 The Prophet' stock sound in my Electro 6D does the job nicely.

Blend in some Grand Piano as well.

Some sections would be worth switching just to grand (like the solo) but for the most part i have used a blend all the way through.

For "True", you might have some luck tweaking the synth brass I used in the Ambrosia song at nord-stage-2-programs-ns2p-ns2pb-files- ... 16863.html I played True on my Prophet 10 when it first came out and the Stage 2 does a nice job. Just back off the FILTER Freq a little before tweaking the MOD ENV Attack and Decay. The FILTER Freq Mod 2 Mod Env may need to be backed off a little too, but try just backing off the Freq first, as nothing else may be needed. Good luck!
