The button labelled "image" in the reply box toolbar generates "[image]" tags, which do not parse correctly for inline links (those require "[img]" tags).

Am I missing something?

Hi,

Images can be inserted justifying the image icon.
The image tag is for images from the gallery.
I fixed that one and renamed it as gallery to be more clear.

Hello Johannes

Allow three observations from the operation of the new version of NUF

1) Display of post editing statistics data has unclear rules

... if post editing starts on the day the post is published, the statistics line is not displayed,
examples: viewtopic.php?p=175218#p175218
(here in this thread I also had my two posts on the subject of maxpiano's edit, and on testing the display of edit statistics,
but they were deleted, one was edited six times from minutes after release to several days ... without displaying a line with statistics)
and viewtopic.php?p=175761#p175761 (default post was no image)

... if the first edit of the post is made in the days following the publication of the post, a row with statistics of edits is displayed,
examples: viewtopic.php?p=174897#p174897
and viewtopic.php?p=175735#p175735

2) Is it possible to return the display of the flag from the user profile to the post in the author field ?

3) I like the light/dark color of the NUF page (I already wrote).
I have a problem (perhaps only my personal one) with the readability of the text in the frames (see pictures for zoom). If I am not unique in my opinion, I offer variants of solutions: lighter gray for dark mode or the same text color for light/dark mode (as in the header) or increase the spaces between characters.

HI,

added the flag in the profile in posts.
The "edited" history actually only you can see in the posts you mention as the author, so hard to debug or see what exactly you refer to.

The color issue, hmm I see, tried to change the applying CSS elements, but no luck, as it is all quite automated. One day will see if I can get a workaround done.

Thanks!
Best johannes

Thanks for the flags

I look at the posts as an anonymous, not logged in user, in the event that a post has been edited, I see a line with the time of the last modification and the total number of modifications.
-- If the post is edited the day after the post is published, the info line will appear ... that's fine.
-- If the first edit of the post is made on the day the post is published, the info line is not displayed (even if other changes are made to the post, even in the following days) ... is this not a mistake?

I perceive the influence of the color of the title in dark mode - worse readability - especially with some groups of letters (e.g. "NEWEST MEMBERS"). The texts are fixed, immutable, light mode will help when reading, no other comments have been received on this topic, forget my suggestion.

Hi,

I think the problems with readability in dark mode is subjective to some extent. I don’t have these problems here in this forum but have similar problems with different combinations of colors on other websites, especially red on green or vice versa.

Would be interesting to get feedback from other users too

I have been using dark mode since came out. My opinion would be that instead of trying to retain the "Nord" colors, the text should be blue or light gray on black instead of the brownish orange color text.

I agree that black text on a dark background is difficult to read.

Coming back to the forum's header color: regarding Clavia's relaunched website, there the Nord logo has the color 8c1a11 (RGB 140-26-17).
It's a bit brighter and warmer than the forum banner. Adapt or not adapt, that is the question
