I wish Nord would offer a 76 version, similar to Studiologic Numa Compact 2x. We search all day for various weighted responses, analyzing the amount of force in grams. The majority seems fixed on lightning fast response and proper bottom out. It would be a force to see Nord expand the semi weighted triple sensor to a lightweight, compact smaller key size (note the key size on Numa is a slight smaller than full), with playability like a cp88, just much lighter in action and weight. There is the old school market of crippling hands who still want to play. There is a world where most people will least likely get the chance to train on a quality full grand, however, still be inspired to play. The board must also include most awesome sounds, but Nord already has accomplished most.

Numa Compact 2x is 88keys semi-weighted (TP9 Piano); maybe you mean the Numa X Piano 73?

Also, I don't find any official info that the key sizing of NXP and NC 2X is smaller than standard, having owned a NXP 73 and tried NC 2x in shops I'd say the opposite (it's standard, at least in width) .

I’m pointing to the Numa Compact 2x 88. It has semi weighted keys, and mirror fine with my NS3 compact, which has worked fine for gigging. The Numa x has HA keys, and they’re all too high bouncy for me. As I have aged, I want a super light key action, so I’m sticking with the semi weighted concept. The black and whites on the Numa compact 2x appear to be just slightly shorter length than standard piano, same width. I like a more unique innovated keys and believe the technology exists. For those inspired by sounds, organs, synth, controllers, I found the Nord compact to be a do it all board for years, and want something as good but can compete. I’m one of those who wants slightly shorter spread on octaves and easy play, like geriatric model, small hands, muscle challenged. The stage compact makes me work for it, but it’s worth it. The compact 2x 88, is an option for similar features, weighs 15 lbs., and inexpensive. The Yamaha ck88 is acting like Nord, but enters the market of piano-like feel. I started down that road, then turned around because of price point. I’m trying to say, if the semi weight could offer 76, improve the keybed responsiveness options, keep weight down, there might be a market for it.

My wishlist for NS5:

- 76 keys
- built-in USB audio interface
- independent volume controls for output pairs 1, 2 & headphones
- option for free split points (even w/o LED indication)
- more sample memory

I currently use NS4 73 and want to have a most compact and simple set-up, only keys and iPad/Mac.

I wish an 49-Key Synth (Wave 3?) like my Lead 3 with 4 Slots and Effects, Samples, FM and Extern Section.

Thanks.

I had the NumaCompact2, the SL73 and finaly the NumaX73 with the new Fatar TP/110 keybed.
The NumaCompact2 was really easy to handel, but I cannot get excited about.
The SL73 was nice but also REALLY to hard to play and after 2-3hours giging, my fingers felt like wet pretzel sticks
The NumaX73 felt like the extension of my fingers - a real improvement.

In the end, I searched for a good keybed WITH a good sound engine / concept
and after playing the NS4 keybed with it´s smooth but still nuancable feeling, the "damage" was done,
the NumaX73 was sold and my purse still empty - but I am happy with my keybed...

I wish there would be an effects update to the OS of the Piano 5 to include the Nord Leslie C2D. Many musicians who play Guitars, Rhodes, Wurlitzer, etc, own and use, a Neo instruments ventilator. The LESLIE could be very effective on the piano 5. Thank you.

I would love a Nord Second Keyboard on top of my Crumar Seven with the Organ and the actual NS synth Engine. No Pianos, but wheel and bender. Only Keyboard like this on market is the Yamaha yc61. But its synthmachine without samples is to weak.
