Re: NS3 Bug reports etc.
I ear (and see) that not only with superwaves.
And with the filter Fq, I reproduce it this morning. It does it few times after the NS3 being start (like if the NS3 had to finish startup, like with Windows).

You should report it to Clavia and add it to the sheet bug.alcools wrote:I ear (and see) that not only with superwaves.

I might be wrong, but just thinking out loud here:Schulti wrote: Yes i can comfirm this, BUT i only experienced this when using superwaves and the OSC ctr. It´s not a hardware thing.
If the filter is freezing/laggy on quick knob adjustments, doesn't this mean that the NS3 engine can't keep up with the speed, and hence being a hardware issue? You can't really increase a DPS with software updates.

Re: NS3 Bug reports etc.
Hi
when drawbars are Morph controlled, the corresponding "morphchanges" are not shown at
the Program section display.
This is not very relevant on "noncompact" models, but for Compact users it´s bothersome.

Re: NS3 Bug reports etc.
Hi,
It's not a bug, but a request : The level steps (piano level, organ level, synth level) have -0,8 / -1,2 db steps, and it's not enough fine for me (a maximum -0,3 would be acceptable for me).
What do you think about that ? What was the NS2 steps ?
On my G2, it's -0,2 / -0,3 (near 0, and after it can be more).

I've put in the request on the Nord-site.
Basically asking to have a system-option to choose between having it before the Leslie (as it is now in NS3) or last in chain (like the NS2).
I just heard back from Nord (or specifically Algam benelux).
They'll take it under consideration.
The email also said they're releasing a major update of the OS in September.

Re: NS3 Bug reports etc.
Finaly, I'm going to ask an update to Nord. There are only 22 level steps ! Impossible to make good fade in. Some steps are huge:alcools wrote:Hi,

Re: NS3 Bug reports etc.
I agree. Not able to do a good fade in or out. Much better before.
For me it's a bug because I used it a lot - no its unsuable.

Re: NS3 Bug reports etc.
I can only hope this IS a bug, and something that will be fixed, and isn't a new kind of 'feature' or something....
But, certain synth parameters, such as a basic frequency cutoff filter, aren't saving with my programs. Or, at least they are, until the keyboard is turned off, but when turning it back on again, it's like the frequency has 'reset' itself to '0' in knob position. And I have to put it back to where I want it, and then re-save, and it'll be ok until the keyboard is turned off... obviously not ideal when getting into each new venue!!
I have my Morph wheel assigned to this cutoff filter. I haven't tried turning morph off, and saving the patch that way, and re-setting. But I don't want to loose the Morph setting I have.
Is anyone else getting this issue with the latest OS? How are bugs reported? As this should probably be reported... unless it's an already known thing?
