anyone who already received their units?
I walked into a store in Birmingham on Friday and took one home with me. I'm in the UK and that retailer, PMT Online, is showing they have stock for next day delivery....

Having a big free library of sounds is part of what attracts people to Nord I know that is part of what sold me on Nord, but that library needs to be maintained and updated too.
Absolutely need "UPDATED" sounds & samples for all Nord boards...
It only makes sense to Clavia selling a expensive board that they always have promoted that they give you quality sounds for free!
Yeah, i don't get it as well.
On the product page it clearly says:
The Nord Stage 4 comes with a new enhanced collection of Grands, Uprights and Electric Pianos from our exclusive Nord Piano Library
Where are all these "new" and "enhanced" electric pianos? Certainly not on the library page, and as it seems (judging by people who examined the samples on the NS4 using the library editor) also not on the NS4 itself...
Am i missing something?

Well it says a new 'collection' so that could refer to the presets, and those presets are arguably 'enhanced' by the Stage 4's new features so ... I always dismiss sentences like that as marketing babble, anyway.

Not that I'm saying I wouldn't like new content or that the Stage 4 shouldn't have it, but like I say, marketing babble.

Do you have any feedback to share about the new keybed? :keyboard:

I’ve been advised that it’s most likely a TP40M (as on NS3) but with triple sensor...

Well, it's flipping typical, but the day after I picked up the keyboard, I got a really painful infection under the side of the nail of my third finger of my right hand, and it was so sore it was agony to play. So I'm letting it heal for now, thought I have had some play time.

However, a keybed is such a personal thing. All I can usefully say is that I have upgraded from the Stage 2 EX, and found the Stage 4 significant improvement. I am more than happy with the action, considering what it is. It's no Kawai MP11se, but I have no complaints. I understand it's pretty much the same as the Piano 5. I never had any time with the Stage 3, so I can't offer an opinion on the difference.

Not much help I know, but I am more than happy with if from the limited time I have had to play.....
