Although not wanting to support OT as this already tends to become a Yamaha YC thread instead of the original intention I still have one question on the YC: how does the YC88 keybed compare to the NS3-88 HA keybed for playing piano?

Keybed feeling when a playing digital piano is one of the most subjective questions ever, as it also involves personal technique/preferences and touch-to-sound interaction.
Having said that, the Yamaha YC88 mounts the "top notch" Yamaha NW-GH3 Natural Wood Graded Hammer keybed, so... but does playing Yamaha pianos on a YC88 keybed feel better than playing Nord Pianos on a HA88 = Fatar TP40? Or, how would it be to play Nord pianos from a YC88 keybed (MIDIed)? Only a personal test can tell..

Thanks Max,
yes I'm fully aware that playing a keybed is a highly subjective matter, I was just wondering if someone compared both the NS3-88 and the YC88 keybeds and can provide her/his own, subjective feeling. However some very obvious differences should be something general, like noise of the keys or the likes

Sure, but what's the value of a written subjective experience to you/me/us? Noise of keys, unless measured in a scientific way, is subjective too.
However, one clear technical difference is that NW-GH3 is graded while the HA88 used on Nord models supposedly not, but agin that may significant or not depending on how it affects touch-to-sound i.e. how I can play as expressively as I would like.
I have not tested the YC88, but I did try the CP88 (same keybed): the feeling of the keys is overall very good, as expected; godo quality of teh surface, no lateral movements and right amount of force required; just the key run seems to me a little shallower than I would expect (as it already was on Cp4 and Cp5 in the past), but someone else may find this a plus rather than a minus.

I ask clavia if its possible for custom order.. i would love a nord grand with stage 3 engines programms etc.. like a mixed nord grand stage 3….they told me its not possible to happen and then i complain to them for the stage 3 88 keybed and that its their flagship and its a shame a flagship of this company to be with dual sensor and cheap fatar keybed which is not possible to play good piano with it.. they told me to wait 6 months and my problem will be solved… i answer by saying. Is this mean that we gona have new stage with triple sensor keybed or kawai keybed?? He laugh and said just wait 6 months and i promise you will be satisfied from the result

M1tsos has been the true connection to Nord for years - just look at all of his predictions, LOL. I think his neighbors and friends work for Nord. Last I heard they are just going to combine all the things into a single instrument, the NEWDGS (Nord Electro Wave Drum Grand Stage) and they expect this platform to be fully wireless and battery powered by 2030. LOL M1tsos can you ask your people if this date is accurate?

Considering the times we are living in, I expect it to be no less than nuclear powered. Or, food waste powered with the Mr Fusion logo on it.

That should have been 2015 though. Opportunity missed...

It is fair to say that M1tsos has the red phone to call the red keyboard guys
March 2023? then if it's true that the technology used in NS3 has reached the processor limits (someone explained that in the forum very well), and speculating, we may have a EX version with new keybed, extra memory for samples and new sample library format?
