Darn it, now I HAVE TO try it...

My suggestion to you would be to temporarily downsize the Imperial and then substitute the White Grand for the Italian. I would predict that you will end up replacing the Italian with the White permanently without looking back. Only my guess. The Italian and White are in similar territory sonically, but the White is more better.Quai34 wrote:Me too and I know I Have no room if I Want to keep the 7 EP, the two Wurlies and the XL I peril and L Italian!!!!
Too many velocity layers is my guess. That was the big difference in the new e-pianos (apart from supporting the filters), as well, which required the firmware update to the Stage 2, Piano 3, and Electro 5.CrazyDriver wrote:Does anyone know why the white grand is not supported on all instruments that supports version 2 of the sample format? I see no technical reason why. I guess Nord just want us to upgrade to a newer instrument, but I'm happy with my Electro 3. If this is about making money I would gladly pay for new samples.
Yes, good idea, thanks, And easy to do, I don't have that much programs the Italian, but I like its "thinner" sound do karen to the Imperial in some songs/situations.... When you say "more better", what do you think about? Why? In what sense? I have a stage 2, not the EX so, Imperial L and White L would fit in?OrpheusNY wrote:My suggestion to you would be to temporarily downsize the Imperial and then substitute the White Grand for the Italian. Imperial L and White L would fit, depending on what else you have loaded (Uprights, PEs...) but for pop/jazz you may even go just with the M sizes, if you need space, I don't think you will miss the sympathetic resonances in the highest/lowest registers and you save quite some MegabytesQuai34 wrote:Yes, good idea, thanks, And easy to do, I don't have that much programs the Italian, but I like its "thinner" sound do karen to the Imperial in some songs/situations.... I don't need much the XL for the imperial, I decided on it when Imwas practicing a lot of Jazz solo act and classical but I'm in a Funk/Pop band now so, I should not here that much difference in my programs right?
Let me know, Friday is my "practice my own parts/adjust and program your sounds" day so, I will do it...
