[@ Admin: I would suggest to fix this thread at the top, so Clavia employees can find it always and quick.

My suggestions for Clavia and the NordStage 2:
- "Program Loading Mode" from System Menu
In the Manual v1.x still described, in the current version not implemented. I would like to use it!
[edit]
This is irrelevant. Thanks to Tomas Johansson from Nord Instruments who pointed me to the manual (rtfm
)
"This system setting is replaced by the Pending Load feature on the panel instead, that allows you to browse the memory w/o loading sounds until you confirm."
- Sound release
A sound (preset) should release until the played keys are released, even if a program change has occured. This works only for Slot A/B, but not for presets.
- Different splitzones for Slots A and B
When layering A & B this could also be nice, but more important are different splitzones for the slots when switching them while playing a song. Even if the last point (release sounds) is not possible and one has to change sounds very quickly.
- Individual splitpoints (not only at C and F)
This is of course a problem with the existing hardware, where LEDs show the splitpoints. A solution would be, that two LEDs are softly flickering if a splitpoint lies between these two LEDs. Setting the splitpoint could be done by the data entry dial.
- Velocity for the Organ
Maybe as a system parameter, but per preset. Perhaps there are die-hard hammond players who could not imagine this. But the NS2 is a modern instrument and I would like to see it. I think the possibility should be there. It was usual to me with the keyboard I played before the NS2, so it is kind of big reorientation to me.
- Several sources for the effect slots,
as already mentioned by other users. But I see, that this is also a hardware problem, so I can live without.
- Expanded range of ModEnv in Filter and Amplifier in the Synth-section
The lack of the sustain parameter makes the programming of "clicky" sounds difficult. Moreover, working with very short decay times lowers the amount of ModEnv.
- Saving all Synth-parameters with "Saving synth sound"
The Voice-section (monophonic, unisono mode, glide, vibrato) will not be saved when storing a synth sound. I would like to see it. But it is a personal taste, I would also like to hear different peoples meaning.
- Shape Mod / Freq. Mod2 value preview
This is a bug in my opinion, I will write to Clavia directly: The value-preview funktion (pressing shift & turning the knob) show the same value, even if the knob is turned left or right, there is no difference between the parameters, so you don't see which parameter belongs to the value you see.
- Fade In for Vibrato Delays
The Vibrato delay function of the synth section just switches the vibrato on after the delay time. Its much more musical if the vibrato fades in.
- User definable categories
Some sounds don't fit to any of the categories. Therefore it would be nice if one can define (and name) some own categories.
Suggestions for the Sound Manager Software
- Asking for "overwrite existing sound" when uploading
If saving sounds to disk ("uploading") an existing sound with equal name will not be overwritten, an additional sound with *name_1* will be written. At least you got a huge list of sounds you never need anymore. A request would be useful.
- Showing used samples
The Manager should show, which samples (pianos, synths) are used by the preset, in the sample tab the preset should be showed which uses the sample and so on (synth, waves etc). Sorting by these aspects would be useful too.
- Option for saving all system settings of the NS2
I would like to see a file format which can save all the system settings I've made, for backup purposes.
Thats just all!

Thanks for your attention.
