FYI - I just purchased an Electro 5D and I'm having the same problem. But only with guitars that have single coil pickups (I.e. Gibson P-90). It radiates at 180 Hz (a multiple of the line frequency) so it must be the power supply. It does not matter what's connected or disconnected (other than the power cord). I'm so bummed.

I have the same problem with my NS2EX and a Fender American Deluxe JB (Active Electronics)

It's not that bad like described before, but it can be a bit annoying...

The same problem like classicrockguy with my Nord Electro 5; when I approach about 2-3 inches the NE5 with my Steinberger GL2 (active pickups) or with my Ibanez Artist (Humbucker) I have the disturbing noise.
It's definitely a problem of my Nord , together with my other keyboards (Motif XS 7 - Roland XP 30 - Alesis QS 8) the guitars work perfect without static!

I have just written a post in the Nord Electro Forum with an audio of the noise.

I use a Baby Grand, with Helpenstill pickups. I recently rearranged my rig and put my Nord Stage 2 on top of the piano. Creates a HUGE hum issue. I am not having any luck shielding the pickups or the the power supply . I do not have this issue with other keys - my Korg Triton for instance produces NO noise on the piano. Any ideas are appreciated

I've got the same issue with my Fender Jazz Basses, when I'm playin' onstage and rehearsing, that's really annoying...
