Sweet! So... of all the improvements, which ones sound better/best comparatively to their old counterparts?

Opinions will naturally vary, but for me the differences for the older EPs (1-4) are particularly inspiring.

EP5 ( bright tines) is a great sound for 70s/80s west coast AOR stuff. That has improved greatly. The Amped and Nephratiti are probably least striking, but still noticeable.

Everything sounds thicker and fuller to me.

There appear to be more dynamics in the upper keys in the 4 epianos I tried: Amped, Nefertiti, Closed ideal and Britght tines.
They seem to me to sound a bit crispier as well. Great.

Am I right that it's impossible to switch somehow filters of new Enhanced EP on NE5?

I do not think you can in the NS2, although Clavia could have used the Clav Eq button for piano filters.
Not sure what the situation is in the NE5.

In NE5 we don't have even Clav Eq. :-)

You can still use the equalizer.

Agreed. I went back to the ep3 MK II for the first time in a while and holy moly is that fun to play. Nefertiti has a bit more going on with the extra velocity layers but not that different. Amped MKI and bright tines (which if you're sad you don't have a dyno filter, E5/stage2 owners, boost the high mids on this and you'll be just as happy) both sound like there's more going on as well.

I want to see a new electric piano ranking survey now...

@Gambold, sell your E4, buy a new stage 3 and come back!
