i bought the world instrument collection. I saved 5 sounds to my nord, which is worth it for me. the autoharp, since its an arpeggio, I just made wav files out of, because its not really playable but somehting i'll paste into my grid when recording. Really happy with the zither single notes, koto(which also includes and arpeggio but single notes as well. The sitar has a glitch of a few notes(they go up an octave for a few notes)
I like the ocarina too. One instrument that is missing is the Shamisen!

i bought it today and a nice shamisen sample is included.
there are 2 autoharp sounds, a strumming one and another with single notes. no glitches on the sitar sound.

I have interest in the Piano, Brass, & String offerings from Sc sounds.
It appears that all of these sounds are in nsmp" format.
I'm not sure what impact this would have on Dynamics.
Can anyone comment on their purchase from Sc sounds
and how well or poorly the more natural sounds perform.
I use an Electro 3.
Thanks.

those nsmp works quite fine with filter/amp assigned to velocity.
the result for some piano sounds (like the vintage digital pianos, for example the mks20) is absolutely great.
the brass/string sounds feel much more the lack of multilayer sampling, but if you play them keeping in mind the mellotron philosophy, they could be very expressive.

"those nsmp works quite fine with filter/amp assigned to velocity."
So, it sounds like you're saying the MKS-20 sample would respond reasonably well on an electro.
Or are you suggesting it works fine with a stage or weighted action with better filters for the sample ?

Hi,
I just ordered the DX7 and String packs. I'm very curious how it will sound!
How long does it take when you choose for download delivery?
