Glad to have helped. Setting it to 122 Close and 60/40 made a big difference to me, as well. :-)

After purchasing my Stage 3 and reading about the B3 sound here, I've been trying different settings. Also tried the much appreciated '122 close' and different balance settings.
Funny enough I'm back at '122' (not close) and 50/50 balance. Sounds best to me, stand alone as well as in my band.

Different people, different needs and tastes. :)

I'm back as well to the same setting, it's sound more natural to me in this Os. But I the OS-2.10 to me was the best until now.

Trying the Close 60/40 Leslie, and Like the slower speed on the horn.
The 60/40 seems like a good idea, to boost the bass and to compensate for the Mid Range EQ boost and Compression that seems to improve the sound I'm going for. However, with the Mid Range and Compression, i'm getting more key click and the percussion is perhaps too loud. Perhaps the 60/40 will even that out too.

I would love to see a new thread where people post their favorite hammond settings. I learned a lot from kbmatson, who had posted his settings on page 39 of this thread. Although we had some differences in taste as I'm not a big reverb fan, when it comes to live B3 etc.

Also, I had some luck programming some extra "tonk" sounding percussion on the second panel , layered and split and faded for the lower left hand notes. Even got the wheel boosting the volume of the tonk.

I agree with all of you...The B-3 settings are in need of tweaks! Even the drawbars need enhanced on the NS3C! Wonder if some sort of update can tweak these settings? If so.. Clavia please do...

Nice idea. It gives me another idea... I've wished for a higher key click level (like you can get on the E5). Maybe I could create key click samples that I could load into the synth section and layer with organ sounds.

Regarding adding Click volume.

It's worth adjusting the following...

Boosting Mid Range EQ
Boosting compression

That's of course after adjusting click level in the sub menu.
