OK Nordics had a slight delay on delivery: the seller just received today his brand new NS3 so he will give me his "old" NS2 Compact this friday... Never mind... Meanwhile i studied the manual... It seems quite a complex instruments to dial within but i hope while using it will be easier to handle :) .

 I'm from US west coast. I have two Nords, I love the red color and sturdy build quality.

New here. My real name is Randy.
I'm not from the Isle of Man, I just love their flag.

I am primarily a Eurorack synth guy (8 years).
I like to make ambient ethereal music, with modern late-night poly-beats. (not Yanni)

But I really missed having a good acoustic piano in my synth set-up, so I bought a Nord Stage3 compact (and a fitted flightcase).
Wow......the Stage3 is amazing.
I like the semi-weighted keys...... as I never was trained on a real piano anyways.

I am not tethered to a DAW or music editing software, though I used to use Cubase.

Anyways, that's it for now.

Hi Randy,

and a very warm welcome to this wonderful forum of nord enthusiasts. You‘ll find almost every answer here, even if you don‘t have the problem (joking)

I have for instance only now learned about the Isle of Man‘s flag. I had expected something with motorbikes, but alright even so.

Have you seen that here are areas where you could post examples of your music? I‘d love to hear some.

Have fun, and stay healthy everybody. Cheers from Germany

Hi Randy, welcome. I'm rather fond of the Welsh flag, in fact I have one draped over my mixing board in my home studio in California. Isle of Man flag? Didn't know they had one. I'd have expected one with a skeleton riding a motorcycle at a high rate of speed...or perhaps one with a cat with a very short tail....

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome...... I will probably have a question about the Stage3.
Shoot, I already have one..... I assume I can send midi notes to the Stage3, but if I want a complete sequencer to play the piano section..... Is it easy ?

Maybe I'll move this to a different and more appropriate forum....thx.
