Thank you Rusty Mike.
Experiencing something like this on one key (an upper C) ... maybe I will leave it like that if it doesn't bother me too much ...
Thanks anyway,
Cheers,

You are quite welcome. It only really bothered me in quiet environments. I could not hear the issue at all when playing with the band.

Good luck!

Hi Rusty Mike,
Following your experience, I am not sure that It won't be worse if I do something about it (replacement, getting something worse, time lost, etc, and same result at the end !) ....
Anyway, you're right, in noisy environments, it's not an issue for the moment. And in quiet, it's just a click sometimes. Not a big deal. We will see.
Thanks again for having shared your experience about it.

Sorry to dig up and old post, but has this problem been rectified on the electro 5 HP?
I understand the fatar keybed should be the same as previous models or am I wrong?

I'd love know too if this issue is present in the new NE5HP.

Hi, I had one E5hp.
2 keys were making clics like 5 month after buying. If i remember well it was a C and an other one. Just when I was playing the key from the side.
Anyway, it was noticable on quiet environments only.
I had to sell the instrument for other reasons so i cannot tell if it was going worse.
But for playing and considering sounds quality and flexibility and weight, no other instruments there.
Someone told on this forum you have to consider it like a Rhodes. Not perfect, but it is a good instrument.
I guess it is just some grease that comes down with time and playing. Nothing to do with fiability, it is buit like tank. I used to enjoy it very much, so much that my next will probably be Nord

that's a bummer...
call me paranoid but i would probably stay away from these kind of keybeds, tp100.

i wonder how much of a problem it would really be.

could somebody kindly take a quick video illustrating the problem?

Pablo I read somewhere that nord rectified with fatar the keybed issue in the e5, is it something can you comment upon?
