Not very handy for gigging, though. Lol!
I wonder what is the purpose of having the keyboard so high, when it could be the way round: sitting at normal height and having the rest of the inferno machine going up.
Does it sound good?

Me too, although I guess they already launched all their new products (namely the Electro 4 series) during 2012.thercman wrote:I was hoping for more from Nord.

The 'Grand Upright' sounds interesting. I assume this will be similar to 'The Giant' virtual piano?
Shame there don't appear to be any new EPs on the horizon though...
Cheers,
James

EDIT: Ah, 'The Giant' was already mentioned.

My mind says Kawai, but my heart says Nord.

Did you see this video? Look at minute 3:50. Looks like they will release a new synth this year.

In the video is mentioned (I think) that the grand upright is a sampled "U3"? Did I hear right? Those are Yamaha, no?

Yes, Tomas definitely stated that it's a U3. I'd have preferred a K-3, but a new upright sound is always appreciated.
I wonder if it will be available in 'XL' size?
Cheers,
James

I never expected to see this presented at a NAMM.
http://www.musicradar.com/news/tech/nam ... hed-568378
and at a utterly ridiculous price £299/$479.
What next, 24 bit digital maracas?
