Funny timing. This flightcase is on its way from Ireland to me as we speak.
I can say it is not a salad.
I'll post some pictures of this and its younger sibling when it arrives.

Very nice! My rack is from the same maker - "Thon". Very well built and sturdy. It has the same plate on the front which made my French girlfriend giggle when it was delivered.
"Thon" means tuna (fish) in French !

I don't care about the flightcase, to be honest - as long as the contents are okay, I don't care how much the post bangs up that flightcase.
Thon is a name Thomann (an international music store from Germany) uses for some of their own products (like custom-built flightcases). Funny that it means tuna an French.

I had to open my NS2 today (out of warranty by now) to recover a plectrum that had found a way to fall into it...
So, since I had the chance, I took a glance at the NS2 boards "live" and I noticed a "strange" green connector, 2 pins jumper
-like, close to the MIDI DIN ones and I realized that it can also be accessed externally (there is a small window close to the MIDI IN I never paid attention )

Anyone has a clue of what could it be about? (just for technical curiosity, no intention to mess with it as my NS2 works perfectly since I bought it and I want it to continue to do so!

)

Hi,
Here is an older topic on this:
http://www.norduserforum.com/post3350.html
Indeed it is a connector that is used during manufacturing "for calibration purposes" or so (some time ago Nord posted this somewhere here, see the link).
Cheers! j

Hi red friends, do we know the answer about the extra keys and the jumper 73vs76? Today i had some white smoke coming out from the power source side, and when i opened it saw the extra contacts and the jumper. Many thanks in advance.
