Together with the new instrument they should give a new grand piano sample since the last one is white grand which was back at 2019 with nord grand
Not really. They provided Felt Upright this year
I didn't say that. I think you made a mistake when you edited the quote tags.

If it is, we have to wait until mid-April this year, rather than the end of January as in previous years

Which is a singular date - next year will be normal again: JAN 2024. But I'm confident Nord may announce a new product a little in advance - to honour the patience of their adherers ;)

Wow, interesting. Still on sale where I bought mine a few weeks ago for the grand-off price at Guitar Center, and still in stock. I assumed it would remain that price until a 3 EX or 4 came out or they sell out. No regrets about buying mine even if a new model is introduced. What an amazing instrument the 3 88 is!

Y'all realize that whenever Nord does make an announcement, whether it is a NS3 EX or a NS4, or whatever, that there will likely be a 6+ month lag between the announcement and the availability of the new instrument? And if history repeats, there will be another 6-12 month "hardening" period of the OS, where early bugs are discovered and worked out. I recall for the NS3 that this was pretty intensive and I actually opted to stick with my NS2 for a year or more while I waited for the new instrument to become stable. I still have one of my NS2 units and it will do most anything that the NS3 does, minus a few nice upgrades. The NS3 lost a few of the NS2 features as well.

Unless there's something that compelling in the new instrument, I could see it being 2025 or later before I'd make a switch to a new one.

Even now that we have 2023 the nord grand still need updates to fix repetition and a sustain decay time on upper octaves

Nord grand released at 2019

Went on sale again at Sweetwater. So that was a mistake, I think. It's still on sale everywhere.
