Re: NS3 Rotary Speaker Vs. Neo Ventilator II A/B Comparison

In the meantime I had some time to compare the differences between the internal Rotary, the Ventilator II and now also the Lester K with each other.
Basically, it's not just about the effect of the rotating 2-way system, but above all about the best possible reproduction of its nice, but very rough frequency response, which in reality must also have a hole between 400 and 1K. In terms of effect, I think the Lester K sounds closest to a close miked 122 or 147.
With a Source Audio EQ2 all 3 can be adjusted accordingly, whereby the internal one needs the most screwing, Lester K the least. I once integrated the Vent II and 2 SA270s into the NS3 and have been using them for a long time. Vent II works much better in the band context than the internal one ... Lester K seems to be even better, but I'm still testing it.
