As Bjosko said, the Half Moon is supported only on NS3c, so on the NS3 76/88 (as on older NS models) the only way to control the Run/Stop (or On/Off) is to use/build a pedal that can send MIDI CCs (either DYI using Arduino or other HW platforms, or by connecting a pedal to an off-the-shelf pedal to MIDI converter, such as for example the MIDI Solutions Footswitch Controller).

PS: of course if with your Nord Stage you use a second/master keyboard which is configurable enough, you can connect a pedal to it and program its "controllers template" to send the appropriate CC to the NS3

Thanks again maxpiano,
I have built some spec MIDI pedals to control guitars amplifiers prog changes with very small MCU's, I hoped there was another old-fashion hardware solution without power supply needed, or maybe a software-only one.
For now, I will be training to quickly press the grey button. :-)
