So bottom line is, you made a wrong decision for yourself in buying a Nord product, which is fair enough. The conclusion of this should be to sell your Nord product and buy something else rather than just complaining here forth and back in the most unreasonable way I have ever seen. You should switch over to another vendor and be happy with their continuous and eternal support

I'm all ok with people grousing, and occasionally trolling the forum.
Example, my NS3C has turned out to be incredibly deep.
When I first got it, it was all about recreating what I was doing before, but -- now -- I'm digging deeper, and the bottom is yet to be seen. The new synth section alone is going to take another year to fully appreciate. The morph function -- jeez -- no limits to what you can do there. New samples (and DYNO filters) being dropped on us, wow. And incremental improvements on organs, effects, UI, etc.
I'm all-in with the Nord ethos. Take my money, please!
My older boards can't partake in the new goodness (yet) but that doesn't mean I'm unhappy. They do the best they can with the hardware that's out there -- much better than others, might I add?

Sorry, but I really hate this kind of attitude. Disagreeing with somebody doesn't invalidate their opinion or their right to express it. Phrases like "do us a favour and switch" divides the community, when really we're all after the same thing here (fantastic keys) and should be working together to achieve it. Pushing out the counter argument doesn't do anybody a favour, it only creates negativity. And the world doesn't need any more negativity.
Yes, I realise that I'm new here and already up on the soap box. Shoot me down as appropriate.

You do have a Point. However, the context here is that Gambold has spent the past years on these forums doing not much more than complaining about the Nord e-pianos and belittling anybody with different needs, tastes and preferences than him (including deriding anybody prioritising synthesis capabilities as not being a real musician).
His agenda here is, by all appearances, not a desire to improve Nord products.

The Electro 4 is the most current Nord keyboard model that is getting left out of this party. We could all debate exactly how far back Nord should go in making the new EP sounds available. Gambold owns an Electro 4, and I believe it is the only Nord keyboard he owns, meaning that he does not have a Stage 2 sitting next to it that will benefit. I can understand how someone would be unhappy in this position.
Harmonizer, I fully agree. What strikes me, though, is that Gambold might express his views quite differently, and with more modesty, instead of reiterating his views in a (to my feeling, at least) rather aggressive way.
On another note, I look forward to trying out these new enhanced EPs very much. For a rather different reason I ordered an Electro 6 recently and am waiting eagerly for it to arrive, and to get the software update required for playing the new sounds!

Yes you’re right and I am sorry for this, should have said “do me a favour” or leave this statement out (which I just did by editing my previous post)... however this constant negative way of Gambold does not help the community in any way ...

I have NEVER commented on anyone personally. Others like analogic feel free to use ad hominem attacks as part of "debate." Yes,I have bitched about Nord here and there, but I've also raved about it just as often, if not more. And again, I have NEVER insulted or belittled anyone. Here is my posting history.
I just removed the last three and was in the process of pulling all of them off when I saw this latest calumny by Analogic. So I'm leaving them up and you can draw you own conclusions on my methods and my intentions. And on Analogic's as well.
@Gambold: as written before I am sorry for being personal, shouldn’t have done this. However I still think that your expectation regarding Nords support for products being the 3rd past generation from current are very exaggerated and I fully agree with Analogica
