Long ago since the last post… what are your experiences almost a year since the release of the Stockholm EP? Is it still the favorite sample oft the most, as said in the poll? Especially in a live setting?

The most ones I use are EP1, EP2, EP3 & EP9.

My preferred mixtures: EP1+EP2 ; EP2+EP3 ; EP9+EP3 and sometimes EP2+EP9.

Sometimes I add another EP sample along with some Key (clicks) Noises samples from the Synth Engine to mimic realism of a live Rhodes + FX tweaks.

I picked the Stockholm, but I use EP1 a lot too.

The rest I don't bother with. The Mark V is weak, which is too bad since that would be a nice one to have.

I almost always end up using the Sparkle Top (and occasionally the Nefertiti), although I'm actually more into the sound of the later Rhodes models. In the rehearsal room I have my Nord Electro 5 on top of my Rhodes Mk2 (1980) with a Suitcase preamp and when I make a direct comparison, especially when the band is playing along, the Sparkle Top sample sounds the most similar to my real Rhodes, it sounds fat and it cuts through the mix in all ranges. Unfortunately, the Stockholm EP falls quite short and sounds a bit artificial and kind of unpleasing in direct comparison.
