Hi guys. Apologies if i’ve missed this (did search).
Does the NS3 have the ‘B3 + Bass’ option that my NE5D has? There’s no front panel control that I can see. I know the splits are much better on the NS3, but to my ear anyway, on the Electro this mode sounds different (fuller bass) than a manual split setup just using the 2 lowest Drawbars on the LH and the same CV & perc settings. Though maybe I’m doing it wrong!
I use this mode a lot so would be an upgrade show stopper.

No, it doesn’t

It even doesn’t have MANY of the Organ parameters...
Really hoping for the addition of Dual Drawbar Mode ( both sets of drawbars shown in the display, plus highlighting the drawbar set on the Slot enabled )
I’d love to see many of these requested features when I’m going to get a S3 compact in a few months

Agree, here’s hoping for more FW updates! If the NE6D has dual organ mode, hopefully they’ll give the NS3 dual-organ-plus-bass!

The Nord lineup has been nicely updated over years, some boards are keepers, the NE4D imho for instance.

I'd like to see more in depth sound settings in the boards to come, a set of relevant mechanical settings to shape the sound, some physical modelling oriented setting.

Take the Vox Continental for instance, setting number 17 on that boards sounds like a Nord, it's quite hard and often impossible on a NS2EX for instance to emulate that board's other settings.

I'm sure that won't happen - maybe in Stage 4, or they'll keep the "B3+Bass" feature exclusive to the Electro Series

Dual Organ Mode seems like an "easy" thing to do, this would just be a one-software-update thing

Electro 5 already showed both Drawbar sets in the display - no indication which is active, but at least both Sets... ^^
In Stage 3 just one Set is shown... plz correct me if I'm wrong...



It's okay for me to have some features exclusive to certain product lines, like the "B3 + Bass", because in a "complete package" like the Stage series, you don't necessarily need that, but sound options like the leakage or other settings that are available in the Electro would be veeery nice in the Stage 3 (and coming..)



The "rotary balance" setting was a step in the right direction - I really hope Nord continues this path

Martin, yes, you’re right, the NE5D does show both sets of drawbars, and can be persuaded to do dual organ mode. The NS3 I played in the shop only seemed to show one. However, I’ve caved and ordered an NS3 88 - I’ll keep the Electro for a while at least, so once it comes, if anyone wants anything checked or compared that hasn’t been already, I’m happy to help.

Everything looks easy to do when you're not the one doing it. Really, with virtually no knowledge of the internal coding or other constraints hey may be working within, it's very hard for us to really know whether a change is easy, difficult, or impossible, or what ramifications a change in one area could have on something else.

Where did you see that more of these changes are coming? I really would like to see the leakage (Vintage 3) and even more, the "higher" click level of the Electro 5 brought over to the NS3. I became less optimistic about the possibility when I noticed that these options seem to actually have been removed from the Electro 6.

"and coming Stage keyboards", not "coming changes".

Has anyone else noticed that the exact same organ sound is much louder on panel b compared to panel a?
