no new stage AGAIN!!!

Everything about Nord keyboards in general; which one to choose, the sound manager, sample editor, and general discussion about the sample and piano libraries.

So what you're saying is that you haven't actually needed a stage in four years — which probably means that you won't need one any time soon, either.

Myself, I needed one in late 2013, so I bought one, knowing full well that the second they brought one out with more piano memory and drawbars, I'd immediately replace it, and I'm rather annoyed that they still haven't updated the line. Right around now would be a great time to replace it, as I'm prepping a new production and would rather program everything into the new board than have to do it over in six months or a year.

Nord never had a regular release schedule.
For that matter, Nord never publicly announced ANY release schedule at all. They just come out with new products when they want, preceded only by a teaser a few days before.
That's the way it has always been, and seeing how they surprised everybody with the Electro5 release, it seems they're sticking to their own ways. ;)

That said, in the last couple of years they have upgraded most of their product line with substantial improvements (physical drawbars, more memory, improved Hammond emulation, new synth engines, better screen...) so, as the Stage has always been the all-in-one keyboard that includes all the best features of the other products, it seems only logical that they will release a new version pretty soon.
May be at MusikMesse in a couple of months, may be later.
No way of knowing, we must wait and see.

In the meantime, let's enjoy the current products to the best of their abilities (which are already great!)

The electro always seems to be a tiny bit better with it's organs.

I don't think they releasing a NS3 or something so quickly after releasing a NE5.
This would cover the attention for the NE5 which is not even available/shipping yet!
So the earliest date for announcing NS3 is the next NAMM 2016 :(

Very good point Tom! That makes business sense, but i also think that Clavia view the Stage and Electro as having slightly different markets.
Also they released the NLA1 and the NL4 pretty close together didn't they? (someone?) even now I see posts from people who are confused as to which one to buy, so those definitely cross into each other's market space. Time will tell I guess... ;-)
And now for something completely different...

What if they simply dismiss the Stage line? Just stop producing them.

Well, this is what the man himself said last month:
Hans Nordelius wrote:"... Business wise, synthesisers are only a small part of what we do. We love it, but the Stage pianos and Electros are bringing home the bacon, so to speak."
I think it's future is safe: even if it isn't called a 'Stage' anymore. Maybe they'll shock us all and make the first Nord Workstation that incorporates the Wave, A1, NL4 synths, E5D organs, Modular G3, multi-layered sampling capability for ALL samples and a choice of hammer or waterfall keybeds. And a vocoder. ;-) All for the bargain price of $9999 USD
Anyway, here's the article quoted: http://www.musicradar.com/news/tech/in- ... y-613549/3
