The XL version is still the faulty v6.1.
Maybe it will take some time to fix it due to its large samples data, and this sounds promising that hopefully they might fix even the XL anytime.

I just received an answer to my email from yesterday:

Hi,

Thanks for reporting! This issue was indeed found very early on with the v6 version of the Bambino Upright, at a point in time when the file was initially only present in the factory bank of the Nord Piano 5. It was fixed, and the piano file was replaced accordingly. At a later point in time, when published on the website, it seems that we, regrettably, failed to use the latest and fixed version for the Bambino. For anyone who is unsure: Do NOT use version 6.1 of the Bambino Upright, but replace this with version 6.2. At this moment the website has M and L versions, of 6.2. And the other two sizes will be added very shortly.

Tack så mycket!

Best regards,

But I can't get much practical use out of it in a full band setting, and when playing alone, the White or even the new Studio Grand 2 sound richer. And if I'm in the mood for a digitized upright piano, which isn't often, the Amber or even the Queen have more punch. I'm just curious who has the space to load XL versions of samples like the Bambino or the Baby, and what they would use those for. Performance? Private playing?
I use the XL Bambino, I love it for live use. It has a great sound for blues and funk jams. I'm starting rehearsal today for a Fleetwood Mac show, and bambino is being used on several tunes.

I only have a couple uprights loaded. I have the XL Pearl and the XL Felt, and one other I can't remember in the L size. I mainly use Bambino and Pearl though.

Well done! And we have a NAME - Staffan Lindroth. An actual human being who signs their name to things. He appears to be their software engineer:

This is currently the only person at Clavia I'm aware of, other than the owner, Hans Nordelius...you can find old photos and dated interviews with him if you look around.

>I got a reply from them, they wanted a demo, so I emailed them the popping demo of the XL. Let see then!<

Interesting they couldn't duplicate the problem themselves, and requested evidence from a customer. I heard it right away when I tried it.

Staffan has been with Clavia for many, many years. He was at the Nord booth at Musikmesse when I last went, a decade ago.

Yep, me too.

And I do really miss the Musikmesse the way it was those many years ago.
