I fear you're right, HanonHanon_CTS wrote:I don't believe that there will be any substantial sonic differences between the C2 and the C2D.
The reason that I think this is that Nord usually gets a little more time selling an Organ engine than it currently has with the C2.
If they've developed a new Organ engine, how would this affect sales of the C2, NS2, and Electro 3 products?

This is a good point indeed, but we are just speculating about motorization at the moment, not sure at all it will actually be there...Ok, but only if the marginal cost of those enhancements is negligible IMO. A set of 38 (thirty-eight) motorized quality sliders would not be cheap at allclones such as the Nord ones are not a 1:1 replica of original Hammond, so they may have enhancements, also in the preset management area.

Re: New organ with drawbars?
Hi all just a question of curiosity and I know no one really knows yet but is there a chance the new organ will be compatible with the sample library? I would have to buy one if that were the case.

But, no, it'll be a C2 with drawbars.
I'm still excited 'bout them drawbars though.
Cheers, Hanon

Or they could take a tip from the Hammond playbook and call it the C2000iaorana wrote:+1, but I'm rather waiting for the [temporary code name] C4... in 2014Hanon_CTS wrote:But, no, it'll be a C2 with drawbars.I'm still excited 'bout them drawbars though.
