This one was interesting, thanks!
And he was more understandable than usual, less broken sentences.

Re: Herbie Hancock Rhodes Sound?
You should ask him to re-do the video in English since this is the official forum language

Alas, it was of no use for me. It was great that you pointed to the right moment. But I didn't understand anything: The English subtitles seem to come from an automated speech recognition and translation service - absolutely useless for me. Ridiculous. Maybe a native English could understand a bit more.maxpiano wrote:Well, not really, that video has already English subtitles available (just check Youtube subtitles settings)
The only thing I might have understood, is: "It depends." So, I'd assist Schorsch in wishing there was something in English (or closer to real English: not just words, but meaning).

Wait, just to be sure: you have to select the "English" subtitles not the "English (auto-generated)"FZiegler wrote:Alas, it was of no use for me. It was great that you pointed to the right moment. FZiegler is right, there's some problem with the English subtitles (NOT auto generated). I skimmed through it and, just as an example: "Sono partito dai bassi", which means "I started my tweaking starting from the lower frequencies" is translated as "I left the party by low".

(or... maybe the auto-generated translation would be better?

Re: Herbie Hancock Rhodes Sound?
I was just joking when mentioned that the video should be in English because the forum language is English .... don’t take it seriously

Re: Herbie Hancock Rhodes Sound?
Thanks, learned something: There isn't an "automated English", but I found the settings for subtitles and found out that there are Italian subtitles (as well as "Italian - automated") available. Maybe I'l try that. I don't speek Italian, but reading it might work better than those funny English shreds.maxpiano wrote:Wait, just to be sure: you have to select the "English" subtitles not the "English (auto-generated)"
Don't worry, Schorsch: It was absolutely clear that you were joking. Even if I took it literally.
