Re: Sample Editor, Endless Loop Possible?
If you want to change the tempo without altering the sound you have to redo the .wav sample it as in the new tempo; otherwise you may simply play on a different key than the original one, but the effect will be the same as speeding up/down a tape.

Re: Sample Editor, Endless Loop Possible?
Hi all, think is related to this theme and not yet answered (apologies if that's not the case)
I've mapped a long sample to my Nord (the Vincent Price voiceover from Thriller - Halloween's coming!)
Is it possible to trigger this once and have it it play in full without using the sustain pedal?
1) I've tried the arppegiator hold - this loops it after a couple of seconds (even when the sample is saved as "no loop"
2) I've tried playing with decay and release but as the sample is longer than the maximum release time, this isn't a solution.
Any tips greatly appreciated
Thom

I don't know if there's a Nord function to do this, but you should at least be able to do it the way we did this kind of thing in the old days... stick a matchbook into the space between the keys, to keep it held down after you remove your finger. (Of course Keith Emerson used a knife...)thomrowlands wrote:Is it possible to trigger this once and have it it play in full without using the sustain pedal?
